With age, these and other models crack and uncontrolled deformation, which are related to metal stresses. When renovating such models, any chemical and mechanical interference must be carefully considered, because this alloy reacts very aggressively to any changes to which it is subjected. It happens, as it was in this case, that the mudguard falls off completely without any reason and has to be carefully glued to the whole. Despite these problems, I managed to bring this model to a state in which it can still please the eye of many people.
