This is Season 1 at the Mine, and this is Day 1 of Wrecking Crew Miners, as we hit the mountain after months of cleaning up the mine area and making it safe.
Jake Tubbs hits his first GEM POCKET at Rock N Roll.. and the Carat Counter goes up. We work hard to find the crystals that we show you here at Rock N Roll you tube.. And Jake knows what it takes to get to this pocket, and he's after it. On the first day of Season 1 Jake gets into a nice gemmy pocket of Herkimer Diamonds while Sean and Toly spot him and watch for overburden or any collapses from above. Jake is relentless in his mission, he has them in his mind.. and he can practically see them behind the rocks. We make a bee line to the pocket, we call it "sniping" pockets. A little help from your spotter will go a long way when you're fighting a mountain. Jake does the heavy lifting and takes the wall down.. revealing a passage into a world thats been closed for 500 million years.
