In this lecture video, we discuss on the behavior of beams without shear reinforcement and the factors that contribute to shear resistance. Most of the discussions of this lecture are based on the 1973 report on the Shear Strength of Reinforced Concrete Members published by the ASCE-ACI Task Committee 426.
