Today we decided to get a 1 day ticket so we could ride a Waikiki Trolley today and another tomorrow since next day is included in this ticket. Today we decided to ride the Blue Line which is the Coastline and Diamond Head Line. We will ride the Red Line tomorrow. We had thought we would do Pearl Harbour today or tomorrow before our cruise but we were too tired still for a huge day at Pearl Harbour.

From the Waikiki Trolley website:

Blue Line: Sights that will take your breath away.

The Blue Line is called “Coastline / Diamond Head” Line for a reason: It takes you to Diamond Head, one of the most iconic natural landmarks of Hawaii and through Kalanianaole Highway which is famous for its rugged cliffs and dramatic ocean scapes.

This trolley was excellent. Our driver and guide gave a commentary throughout the whole journey. He was a Hawaiian guy so was super knowledgeable. On the trolley ride our favourite stop was the blow hole and just seeing all the housing, suburbs, coastline and Diamond Head Crater was just amazing.

The audio was no good though as we could just hear the driver and there was a lot of wind noise so I took it off and added the background music for this video.

I hope you like my video!
