Welcome to this quantitative finance series in R! In this tutorial, we'll go over installing necessary dependencies to start and playing a little with the Quantmod package. R is a statistical programming language that's widely used for quantitative finance within hedge funds, investment banks, and other areas as well. R is free and offers a robust set of libraries to analyze all sorts of financial data.
