In this video we are removing the charcoal cannister evap system from my 2021 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 motorcycle. This emissions system is designed to salvage any fuel vapours from escaping to the atmosphere and instead route them to the intake manifolds and then consume them during the normal combustion cycle. As you will see from this video the charcoal cannister on my bike was flooded with gasoline which renders the system ineffective. I was never advised by my dealer to not fill my motorcycle to the top, if you routinely fill your tank to the top your charcoal cannister will most likely be useless as well. I have also heard of people having issues with their bikes running poorly when this system malfunctions due to vacuum leaks. In my opinion it's better to just remove it.
