Heterotrait Monotrait Ratio (HTMT) is a new alternative method for testing discriminant validity. HTMT is the average correlation of different indicators to the average correlation of the same indicator. The discriminant validity test with HTMT was tested with AMOS the first and then to obtain the HTMT Ratio which to calculate manually using Excel.
