Amy Lam graduated from the UBC Master of Data Science Computational Linguistics program (https://masterdatascience.ubc.ca/prog...) in 2020 and is now working as a Data Analyst for BCCNM. MDS-CL is a 10-month accelerated program, provides the technical foundation and practical real-world data experience to prepare graduates to effectively translate data into knowledge, communicate its stories and help decision-makers take action.

MDS-CL is tailored to those with a passion for language and data. Over 10 months, the program combines foundational data science courses with advanced computational linguistics courses—equipping graduates with the skills to turn language-related data into knowledge and to build AI that can interpret human language.
