***Makhana Burfi Recipe***

Ingredients
1 cup Foxnuts (Makhana)
2 small cups Desiccated Coconut
Small cup Cashews (Kaju)
1 small cup Sugar
1 Cup Milk Powder
Some Cardamom pods
1 tablespoon Pure Ghee (Clarified Butter)

Procedure for making Makhana Barfi:

1. Firstly, dry roast all the ingredients separately until they become crunchy.
2. Let them cool down and then grind them into a fine powder.
3. Mix all the powdered ingredients – makhana, cashews, desiccated coconut.
4. In a saucepan, boil one cup of milk until it thickens.
5. Add sugar and melt it in the milk, then turn off the heat.
6. Let the milk mixture cool down slightly.
7. Now, mix the powdered ingredients into the milk mixture while continuously stirring to avoid lumps.
8. Turn on the heat again, add a tablespoon of ghee, and cook the mixture on low flame until it forms a dough-like consistency.
9. Add cardamom powder and mix well.
10. Turn off the heat and let it sit for a while.
11. After 10 minutes, mix it again and spread it evenly on a plate lined with butter paper.
12. Let it cool completely and then cut into desired shapes.
13. Enjoy your delicious and healthy Makhana Barfi!
