We all want to master the scales on the guitar, but we don't know the secret to doing it. We want to learn them by memorizing a bunch of pre-established scale diagrams, but we don't realize that that way is inefficient. First you have to master the major scale. Once achieved, playing the rest of the scales is a piece of cake:
