Everytime we think of Pirates of the Caribbean - Johnny Depp and the classic musical score come to mind. The glorious final products of the franchises - were almost hindered by the cast’s inability to keep it straight faced alongside Captain Jack. There are more than a few occasions where our favorite swashbucklers just can’t get a specific line - or keep a serious face.
Pirates has an endless blooper reel - and we all know what that means. Not only do we get to see the guilty persons responsible for flubbing scenes - but we get to laugh along with them. Sometimes things just don’t go as planned or the story can be veered off the path with one improvised line - but all these situations made its way back to the main story. We mean - every time Johnny flubs a line - or acts a fool as Sparrow - that’s pretty much extra training to stay in the quirky character. Making even some of the most serious actors out there break - is no easy task. So obviously someone was doing their job right.
An actor has to roll with the punches of a scene when things go wrong - but in this case - there were just too many weird things happening on set to stay in the moment. Although - even the most complex sword tricks needed a few times to get right - and those final sighs of relief were needed to make a perfect final cut. So keep a close eye out for the troublemaker - we’ve got a little challenge for you in this video.
