Traditional Bengali Macher Matha Diye lau Ghonto. It is one of the best Fish Head Recipe. It is also called Macher muro diye lau. It is very popular Bengali Non Veg Recipe.

Ingredients of Macher Mathar Lau Ghonto :
1) Lau ( Bottle Gourd ).
2) Rui Macher Matha or Rohu Fish Head.
3) Chopped Tomato.
4) Ginger Paste.
5) Chopped Green Chilli.
6) Turmeric Powder.
7) Cumin Powder.
8) Cumin Seeds.
9) Dry Red Chilli.
10) Bay Leaves.
11) Sugar.
12) Salt.
13) Mustard Oil.

Method of Bengali Recipe Macher Mathar Lau Ghonto:
1 -Marinate the fish head with turmeric powder and salt.
2 -Heat the pan. Add mustard oil on pan.
3 -Fry the fish head.
4 -Again heat Mustard Oil and add dry Red Chilly, Bay Leaf, Cumin Seeds and mixed well.
5 -Add chopped tomato, green chilli cook it for 2 min. After that add ginger paste, 1 tsp turmeric powder and some water to mix it very well.
6 -Now add half tsp Cumin Powder and half tsp red chilli powder. Also add some sugar.
7 –After that broke the fish head and add it. Add some garam masala powder stir it regularly.
8 –Finally add bottle gourd. Now cook in sim mode for 5 minutes.
9 – Add some salt and some water. Now close the lid and cook in sim mode for 15 minutes.
10 –Open the lid. Add some garam masala and serve hot with steamed rice. Enjoy "Macher Mathar Lau Ghonto".
