In which I start creeping into the territory of doing gear reviews beyond backpacks with the Therm-a-rest NeoAir Topo Luxe sleeping pad. This is the thickest Neoair to date and provides over 4 inches of thickness while keeping the weight well under 2 lbs. I have slept well on it so far and I enjoy it's small pack size and weight compared to other 4-inch thick mattresses on the market. Takes up way less space in my trunk for car camping and might even be small enough for a luxurious backpacking trip. ***Also just want to note that the pad surface can be a little noisy when you are moving around on it but it does not have that potato chip bag crinkly sound you get with the other NeoAir pads.
