The Song of Pomerania (If in quiet Hours) is the national anthem of the former province of Pomerania. The lyrics can be traced back to the poet and theologian Gustav Adolf Pompe, who wrote it in 1851 during a hike in the Harz Mountains:

"In some hut, one after another, the various Landeskinder involved would have sung their native songs, but two sons of Pomerania would have listened with the pain of not having one."

With descriptions such as "White sails fly on the blue sea [...]", the entire second stanza is dedicated to the blue and white national colours of Pomerania.
In this version, the third stanza is missing:

From afar my mind turns to you,
from afar it sends its trusty greeting;
carry, gentle winds, my greeting and song,
softly waft the sound of faithful love.
