This was actually way more difficult than I thought it would be. You'd be surprised at how hard it can be to make the correct decisions under pressure. My heart was pounding heavy from this! Definitely brought me out of my comfort zone as someone who doesn't solo much.

Not allowing myself to use Cogs Miss as a last ditch effort really made every turn a decision that could ruin the entire run, I needed to make sure that the cogs NEVER got a chance to attack me which is easier said than done. I lost many runs due to things such as gags missing, just making the wrong decisions upon when the best time to use my level 7 gags are, trying to figure out when I wanted to use certain SOS cards (sometimes I'd beat myself up over using Lil Oldman needlessly when I could have used Barnacle Bessie or my presentation- it's not like I can unlure them safely and that actually costed me a couple runs), and of course the last round had to get me at least once... that first ramp being at such a steep angle makes it hard to gets pies in and dodge at the same time I swear (how embarrassing). Getting a level 12 showing up at the wrong times so I couldn't destroy it AND the lured cogs at the same time could also end my run; many times it would be several level 12s one after the other coming out one by one and I'd be like "PLEASE BE A LEVEL 11 OR LOWER SO I CAN LURE AND WEDDING CAKE BEFORE THE LURE RUNS OUT" and it just wouldn't happen. Sometimes it would even be a mistake to destroy a cog simply because a level 12 would take its place! I feel like this challenge harder than it looks.

Honestly in terms of how to make this challenge easier I imagine having two organic wedding cakes would make it much easier considering that would allow you to destroy lured level 12 cogs which my crocodile Clawdia here had no way of doing so without fires. I suppose I made things harder on myself by choosing two organic operas. I didn't choose that setup with solos in mind. Unfortunately I don't even have a toon with two organic wedding cakes when I'm writing this so that wasn't an option for me at the time LOL. Maybe in the future who knows!

It took a lot of patience and I tried many many times to do this without Cogs Miss- mostly simply due to the fact that it got nerfed and is now not as reliable as it was before but also because I figured an extra restriction would be interesting- and also without Lord Lowden Clear considering using Lowden would make any challenge trivial. But after many hours of attempting this I am so happy to say that I have done it! I can officially say that I soloed a boss at 1 laff which I've wanted to do for awhile, and correct me if I'm wrong but this may be the first 1 Laff VP Solo recorded since the Cogs Miss, Lil Oldman and presentation nerf. The Doctor's contest just gave me the motivation to try to go through with the challenge! And fittingly enough I saved Flippy, that wasn't even intentional! :)
