"Freddie Kohlman and his New Orleans Jazz Band" - Recorded 1953 at the Mardi Gras Lounge
333 Bourbon Street - New Orleans.
This is another rarity from my research and collection with an outstanding band from New Orleans, playing authentic New Orleans Jazz. These amazing musicians are all legends in their own right.

Thomas Jefferson – trumpet, vocal
Willie Humphrey – clarinet
Wendell Eugene – trombone
Quentin Batiste – piano
Clem Tervalone – bass
Freddie Kohlman – drums, leader

It is not known who filmed this rare document, but is was found on
weirdovideo.com. The original was totally unorganized with clips all put together wrongly and the sound track was several seconds out of sync.
I tried my best to put the music back together so it could be presented as close to a coherent way as possible.
It came out as 2 versions of "When The Saints Go Marching In", plus 2 short vocals at the end by Thomas Jefferson which did not fit in with the other takes.
