This is a quick video to show the equipment i use to conduct an AP on a stick survey using Ekahau Pro software. This includes the equipment i have used to conduct the survey. I will list this below.

1. Tripod to replicate the height of a ceiling.
2. The actual access point that you will be using for the job. In this case its a Ruckus R510
3. Basic travel router, i used a TP-Link.
4. Ipad with Ekahau Connect License to conduct survey.
5. Laser measuring tool to measure a wall for scale purposes.
6. Poe battery pack. A lot of places may not have electricity so you need to use a battery pack.
7. The Ekahau Sidekick allows you to measure the readings. I'm using a Sidekick one which is dual band 2.4 and 5ghz. The Sidekick two does all three bands.
