Hey Riders.....
We are continuing our travels through France, taking on the fantastic Cime de la Bonette. This is the first race for the Muckers Worldwide August Championship series. This is not the full HC climb but a shorter Cat 1 version but still tough for racing. Things will go off fast right from the start, there is no gentle lead in, its just start climbing for 14 km and nearly 1000m of elevation. It has been called one of the highest paved roads in Europe, definitely France but there are higher ones in Spain and Turkey.
