A neighborhood in this small town has become motivated to do something about this graveyard that has been taken over by brush and trees. This place is amazing. Not only is it known that there are slaves buried here, many of these graves that date back to the early 1800's actually have tombstones which is extremely rare because that sort of thing was normally cost prohibitive to slaves.
