Change a standard AC Evaporative (Swamp) Cooler into a low-voltage DC unit (12 or 24 volts). When done, the cooler used only about 1/3 the power of the original AC version; and with DC, no inverter is required.

This Part 5 is a supplement "extra" to the project, going into detail about various related topics. A handy Table of Contents is displayed at the beginning, listing the time mark into the video for each topic, including: replacing cooler pads, cooler water hygiene, maximizing cooler performance, adding insect intrusion barriers, 24 volt fans/systems, "pusher" vs "puller" fans, adding a pump speed controller, among other topics.
