Quick and dirty rundown of current Kemper Stage live pedalboard utilizing Hex loop switcher.
Shure wireless (or guitar cable) -- Kemper Stage
Upper FX Loop -- Voodoo Lab Hex midi loop switcher:
Loop 1: Timmy (slight overdrive/boost)
Loop 2: Red overdrive pedal (homemade)
Loop 3: Rockett Archer
Loop 4: Boss Dimension C chorus
Upper fx loop is mono and is usually activated in Slot D on Kemper
Lower FX Loop -- Strymon Flint (harmonic tremolo only) -- TC Hall of Fame reverb (long reverb with high octave)
Lower fx loop is returned in stereo and is activated in Slot X on Kemper
Kemper Performance Slots send Midi PC changes to Hex to turn on/off individual loops depending on what I need for each slot. Midi devices are set up in the System parameters and the PC changes are set up in the slot parameters.
I am using an iPhone to capture this recording and it's a little loud so there is some slight distortion from the microphone on the phone. The Kemper monitor output is running into a Valvetrain PT50MB for this demo. The guitar I'm using is a homemade partscaster with an MJT body, a Guitar Mill (Mario Martin) neck, Duncan Pearly Gates bridge pickup, and Tom Anderson stacked single coils in an HSS config.
