Jesus clearly states, God is Spirit, John 4:24. In this sense, He is invisible, Spirit, not flesh. In the Old Testament, we have several descriptions of God appearing. Most are called a Christophany or Theophany; a preincarnate appearance of Christ. In this episode Dr. E outlines Old Testament appearances of God in physical form.
