Welcome to a very special episode! Every year one of my best mates and I celebrate our Birthdays by heading off for a few days fishing together. It's not anything serious, just a couple of mates chasing a few fish, sipping a few cold ones and enjoying all that New Zealand has to offer. Normally the cameras get left at home and we just enjoy being offline for a few days but this year I thought I'd grab my brand new ‪@GoPro‬ Hero 12 Black and document the adventure...

And man am I glad I did! Despite a deteriorating weather forecast we headed to the fishing paradise that is the Far North of New Zealand, and had four of the most insane days fishing I have ever experienced. We softbaited, straylined, fished in the harbour and out in the open ocean, and everywhere we went we were met by massive, hard fighting fish - it just doesn't get any better! I don't want to ruin the surprise (although the title does give it away a little), but we also get to do battle with some of the biggest Snapper I have ever seen.
