I make a green brontosaurus dinosaur plush stuffed animal from start to finish! First I start with my original design pattern and using a rotary cutter I cut the fabric into the necessary parts. I use lime green antipill fleece for the main body and light green blizzard fleece for the belly and spots, with a little black blizzard fleece for the eyes. Once everything is cut out, I glue down all the spots and eyes with Fabri-Tac fabric glue so that the tiny pieces will stay in place as I sew them to the main body. After those parts are sewn together I clip together the main body of the dinosaur and sew the two pieces together, leaving an opening at the bottom for the belly and legs. Next I clip on the belly and leg segment and sew it to the main body, leaving a 1-2" hole to invert and stuff. Now I can invert the whole piece. The next step is to stuff the cavity with Polyfill. I prefer to use Polyfill brand polyester fiberfill because I like the way it fluffs compared to other brands. Next I just need to hand stitch the opening and attach a tag. ALL DONE!
