A three mile walk [one way] along a lovely stretch of the river Dove. Parking at Dovedale. We did this walk in early September and started fairly early in the morning. Its a wonderfully peaceful walk following the river almost the whole time. There is a small bridge that can be crossed to avoid the stepping stones quite soon after leaving the car park at Dovedale. The bridge is shown in the video. The paths are easy and mostly flat and well maintained with just one section of steps. There are also a couple of caves to explore. You can get some refreshments at Milldale.
