It's good solid construction. I don't have any noise sleeping on it for about 3 nights now with no issues. I do recommend. shipping was fast. However, delivery ppl could have been better, but that isn't anything wrong with Silk & Snow. I did not have any defects or anything wrong with my frame. I do recommend 2 people to get the boxes inside. 2 people putting together would be best, but I did it by myself with no issues. It took me about 30 minutes tops to put together once everything was opened and laid out. I am very happy with this purchase, and it looks great. It feels very sturdy and doesn't creak or seem to move at all. My bed does sit higher than I was expecting, with that in mind I do have a Doctor's Choice Elite Euro Top Mattress which is approximately 15.5" high and I did put a 1.75" mini foundation onto of the slats for the bed to sit on due to the slats being 3" apart I want to make sure my bed doesn't start to sag. So from floor to top of bed, we are right about 31" high. I know there aren't a lot of reviews out there about this frame, which is why I wanted to post one as I could only really find the one from the other fella. good luck on your bed frame search, and if you decide to go with the Silk & Snow Wooden bed frame, I think you'll be very pleased.
