Hi, I'm back :D

This time again with Wasurete Yaranai, I've been working on this for the last couple of months and I feel like I've made some good progress since the last time, particularly in my finger strength/independency as the chorus parts that were impossible before and felt like it was just destroying my hand now feels a lot more relaxed and doable, so I'm happy about that :) I've also worked quite a bit on the solo-sweep, and I am happy to say that I can actually kind of know what's going on when I play it! At around 100bpm I can do it quite decently. Nonetheless, at higher speeds it's still not really pretty, so I'll continue working on it! I've also noticed that staying in rhythm seems quite difficult now for some reason, idk what happened but I more often now am off beat, so if you have any tips for improving that, feel free to share them below!

I also have a new tone for lead. I just swapped the OCD Overdrive for a SD-2, which sounds a lot less bass heavy, which I think is an issue my humbuckers have xd. Doing this makes it sound a lot better in my opinion!

This time I actually created my own backing track! It's just bass and drums, but I just discovered two new VST's for both of these (the MODO BASS and MODO DRUMS from IK, both free!) and I wanted to try it out, and so I thought why not make myself a little backing track? I think it turned out pretty well, so I'm happy about that!

I also learned the rhythm guitar, and I'm once again shocked by how much impact it has on the song xd. It sounds so much better and fuller than without it!

You might've also noticed that it has been a bit longer than usual since the last upload, and I'll be honest that it isn't entirely due to external reasons. Though I had a bit of a busy time these couple of weeks, I can't ignore the fact that I felt like guitar was just getting a bit boring. I had tried shooting a lead guitar video several times and it kept not going well, and so I also got quite frustrated that I wasn't able to improve on those parts that didn't go well. In other words, playing guitar just became playing the same song mindlessly and brainlessly over and over with mistakes I didn't want to make. I do feel like I've learned from it though, because, and I know this sounds cliche, but mistakes are going to be there. And so I just retried it, and bam, here we are! This take is not necessarily a lot better than the others, but I felt like I had a lot of fun making it anyways, which in my opinion is the most important thing when it comes to learning guitar!

As always though, there are still lots of fields I can improve on, so if you have any tips/tricks or advice to share, feel free to comment down below!
