It turns out that for the Slice of Life genre, MAL is way too strict and AniList is way too lenient. In the future if we do another SoL ranking, I'll try to find a good middle ground when accepting submissions. Nonetheless, this is a very broad genre and the songs do not disappoint.

We used the same "popular pick" system from last time: each person can choose to submit a song they think is popular enough that it should probably be included, and if it wasn't nominated already, we all vote on whether it should be added. I don't think this system is perfect but it's working well enough for now.
