The popular Hindi series 'Dada Dadi Ki Kahaniyan' which aired on Doordarshan in the year 1986 was filmed before the popular kids show ‘Vikram Betaal', and one year before the famous ' Ramayan' series in 1987. This was film producer #RamanandSagar and the 'Sagar' banner's first foray into Television in India. The series was directed by Moti Sagar and written by the acclaimed film director Phani Majumdar.
