Close up step by step guide to all the prone areas that can leak on the infamous Mercedes SL 'Soft-Close' actuator. I show how to check, what to use and how to ensure the lock is re-installed and aligned correctly.

Tips: If you are buying a used unit, then my advise is to ask the supplier everything you can about the condition and age to ensure you have the newest unit possible.

The epoxy I used was Loctite 4090 which is an engineering grade product and not easily available on the net.
However you there is an equally strong commercially available epoxy by Loctite with static mixer tube on Amazon here: https://amzn.to/3rh6AVW
