Straight out of the (virtual) box, Unreal Tournament appears to run like crap on a Cedar Trail netbook. With some third-party addons, however, you can actually get some satisfactory results. Just head on over to www.cwdohnal.com/utglr/ and download the OpenGL or Direct3D 9 renderer, get them set up, and you've got yourself a mean(ish) fragging machine. Using the OpenGL renderer, you can get in excess of 60 fps at native resolution (which, in all honesty, isn't saying much). You'll encounter some graphical anomalies using the D3D 9 renderer, such as weird texturing when a player picks up a Shield Belt or Damage Amplifier. If you want to record video, though, it's the only way to go. This video was recorded from the GOG version of UT.

FPS @ 1024x600, OGL renderer: 23-60, upwards of 110 without V-sync
FPS @ 1024x600, D3D9 renderer w/ FRAPS recording: 22-30

My specs:
Intel Atom N2600 @ 1.6 GHz
2 GB DDR3/800 CL5 RAM
Intel GMA 3600 @ 400 MHz
250 GB 5400 RPM HDD + 8 GB Class 6 SD Card for ReadyBoost
Windows 7 Starter 32-bit
