Recorded on Saturday, January 19, 2019.
I have climbed Mt. Kasagata on the Ryusoga Falls course before.
At that time, there was a lot of water and I remember having a hard time crossing the river.

The course to be climbed this time is the Sennin Waterfall Course from the mountain climbing parking lot prepared by Ichikawa Town.
From the parking lot, you can choose either the Kasagata Shrine course or the Sennin Waterfall course to climb Mt. Kasagata.
I think it is safe to climb the shrine course, but we chose the Sennin waterfall course and the shrine course to go down the mountain.

Mt. Kasagata is well maintained and there are many information boards so you can climb with relative peace of mind.
However, please note that the Sennin Falls course has many traverses and rapid climbs.

The information board of this mountain shows the time required to reach the destination.
However, we couldn't arrive on time.
We are aware that our walking speed is slow, but I felt that the time required for the information board was a little tough (laughs).

The Sennin Waterfall course has many attractions, and I enjoyed climbing it.
The point "Horai Rock" has a confusing rock in the foreground.
Further down from the misleading rock was the "Horai Rock".

When I arrived at Kasanomaru, the ground was frozen.
I walked with chain spikes, but when I approached the top of the mountain, the snow disappeared.
It's warm this year.

I spent time talking with the locals at the top of the mountain.
The scenery was wonderful and it was a very enjoyable time.

Shimoyama will return on the shrine course.
At Kasagata Shrine, there is a very large couple cedar.
It was a really big and mysterious tree.

I had to walk quite a bit from the trailhead to the parking lot, so the climbing time took longer than I expected.
However, Mt. Kasagata overlooking the mountains of Harima was wonderful.
I was able to enjoy climbing the mountain this time as well.
Thank you.
