Susanna de Chenonceau, M. Ed. (formerly Susanna R. Cerasuolo, M.Ed.) gives tips about sending AP scores to colleges:

-In the fall when you are applying to colleges, only report 4s and 5s.
-In July after high school graduation, you can send scores if it means you will be able to skip classes and save some money.
-If you choose to send scores after graduation, be aware that you will likely be placed in harder classes during freshman year. Be ready to prioritize your GPA during freshman year!
