I stopped filming when it became obvious that rescue plans should be made, but luckily after another 10 or 15 seconds the swimmer flushed out and was pulled up on to a raft in the eddy. No idea how long they had been swimming before the drop.

In retrospect we felt bad with a large group on the rock, and not a single rope to rig a tether immediately at hand for a live bait rescue.
