When you need a bite, or if you are learning to fish a jig for bass, this jig will get bit more than any other jig. It is just a simple easy to eat morsel for all species of bass. That said its important to pair it to the proper size jig head. This bait is easily over powered, this takes action from the bait. I also find I dont get as many bites with the wrong hook.
