Managing tasks in the cockpit whilst learning to fly (and I imagine after you've passed) is possibly the most difficult aspect of the 'skill'. Here I demonstrate tracking a VOR radial and the difficulty I have in managing engine management, altitude, radio and safety. I hope this helps some of you understand that it's not just you who gets that headache! I'm nearly ready for my skills test, although I don't feel like I can convince my examiner of that just yet!
