തൃശ്ശൂര്‍ പൂരത്തിന്റെ (Thrissur pooram) മുഖ്യ പങ്കാളികളില്‍ ഒന്നായ ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് പാറമേക്കാവ് ഭഗവതിക്ഷേത്രം (Paramekkavu bhagavathy temple). തൃശ്ശൂര്‍ നഗരത്തില്‍ സ്വരാജ് റൗണ്ടിന്റെ (swaraj round) കിഴക്കുഭാഗത്തായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഐതിഹ്യപ്രകാരം ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠ അങ്ങാടിപ്പുറം തിരുമാന്ധാംകുന്ന് ഭഗവതിക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ അതേ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയാണ്.
