Welcome back to Schofield Welding. In. This episode we are talking about 6010 Hobart Rod down hill welding. Okay so most of you know Fab Tech is well on its way here which we are excited about. We have been asked to do some welding demonstrations at the Miller welding booth, the Lincoln welding booth, ESAB welding booth, hypertherm plasma booth and quite a few others. The demo at the miller welding booth is a downhill Hobart 6010 bead and Hobart 8010 out to the cap. So before this video I had only actually welded with this rod on 3 previous coupons and let’s be honost, it didn’t go great. That rod was giving me trouble on my root pass. Undercutting EVERYTHING!!!! suck back excessive bead you name it it did it. So in this video you guys can come with me as we figure out how to weld with it. Be blessed
