추석 연휴 잘 보내고 계신가요? 여기는 이제 본격적인 시애틀 날씨가 시작된 것 같아요. 흐리고 우중충한 시애틀 날씨요. 환절기마다 남편이 많이 아픈데, 이번 주말도 아프기 시작했어요. 한국도 이제 날씨가 변하는 시기인데, 모두 건강 조심하시길 바래요. 추석에 가족들과 함께하지 못하시는 분들은 특별히 맛있는 음식으로 마음을 달래셨으면 좋겠어요. 이런 때 더 쓸쓸해지잖아요. 저는 지난 13~14년 동안 한국에서 딱 한 번 추석을 보냈어요. 대부분 미국이나 다른 나라에 있었고, 주로 학기 중이라 한국에 갈 수 없었거든요. 시간이 지나면 익숙해질 거라 생각했는데, 오히려 그리움은 커지는 것 같아요. 특히 부모님께 죄송한 마음이 커요. 생각이 많아질 때는 맛있는 걸 먹고 기운을 내는 게 저한테는 최고더라고요! 그래서 영상만 올리고 빠삐코 먹으려구요 ^^ 다가오는 한 주도 건강하게 보내시고, 다음에 또 만나요. 오늘도 영상 보러 와주셔서 감사해요!

Hope you're all enjoying the Chuseok holiday! It feels like the typical Seattle weather has officially arrived—gray and rainy. My husband tends to get really sick whenever the seasons change, and of course, he started feeling unwell as the weekend kicked off. I hope everyone in Korea is staying healthy as the weather shifts there, too. If you can't be with family during Chuseok, I hope you're treating yourself to something extra delicious. It can feel even lonelier during these times, right? I've only spent Chuseok in Korea once over the past 13-14 years. I've mostly been in the U.S. or other countries, usually because of school, so I couldn't go back to Korea. I thought I'd get used to it over time, but the longing only seems to grow. I especially feel sorry toward my parents for not spending enough time with them. Whenever I get lost in these thoughts, I find that eating something yummy really helps me feel better! So after uploading this video, I'm going to treat myself to a Ppapico ice cream! 😄 Let's all stay healthy and have a great week ahead. Thanks again for watching today's video, and see you next time!
