In our Chardham Yatra dairies, the last and the most important dham is Badrinath dham. This is a very special place of divine. The essence of Siva-Keshava tatva is clearly visible at this place. It is nestled in between a beautiful heap of snow-capped peaks and by the side of the serene waters of Alakananda. As this place was renovated by King Ashoka during Buddhism, the temple design is in Buddhist architecture. Near to this temple in a distance of 5 KM, there is a village called Maana where Vyas Maharshi had recited the 1,00,700 Slokas of Mahabharat while those were documented by Sri Vinayaka. They both have taken shelter in two caves while the Mahabharat was being scripted. Those caves are called "Vyas Guha" and "Ganapathi Guha" respectively. Near to that place is where River Saraswati flows and disappears into the valley but can never be sighted anywhere again. There is also a place nearby where you can see the Swargarohan marg taken to by Pandavas. There is also a stone bridge laid by Bheema to cross the River Saraswati. It is called Bhim Pul. This village Maana is the last village of Bharath near the border with China. There is one last Tea Shop of India at this border.
It is an experience one should go through atleast once in a lifetime. Such divinely experience.
