This car comes with the original purchase receipt from August 14, 1970, when the first owner bought it directly from Lotus Cars in Norwich!

According to the original specification sheet, this Lotus Europa S2 Type-54 still exists in excellent, original condition today. It has been meticulously restored to its full original form under the care of an owner with a keen eye for detail. While the body style, with its modified front fender line, resembles the Type 65, both the caution plate and the vehicle registration identify it as a Type-54, likely produced during the transitional period in 1970.

Everything has been upgraded and restored, from the engine, the waterline running beneath the chassis, to the brake system including the servo, and the suspension system including the dampers.

This car retains its original look but is exceptionally well-finished, offering a unique driving experience that would make it a cherished piece in any lifetime collection!

その仕様書の通り、現在でも極上オリジナル状態で現存するロータス・ヨーロッパ S2 Type-54は、とことん拘るオーナー様の元、フルオリジナル仕様にて素晴らしくレストアされた一台となっています。
フロントフェンダーのラインが変更されたボディスタイルはタイプ65と見受けられますが、コーションプレートも車検証上もタイプ54、1970年過渡期の生産と思われます・・・。
