This was my first solo hike in the Himalayas and what a beauty to start with. It was March 2022 and the season had just opened to visitors after a long delay after covid, so folks were very happy to see visitors. It was quieter than peak season so booking ahead wasn't required. I found the main routes safe, easy to follow and well supported with passersby on treks. There are a lot of stone steps so the knee joints do take a battering.
Highly recommend trekking in Nepal, one of the most fantastic places I have managed to travel to. It tested and improved fitness levels and opening up the mind to future goal opportunities.
I hope this inspires you to trek, and enjoy the video, I subsequently went onto a few weeks later to trek around Langtang for several weeks before resting for a week and heading then up to Everest Base Camp and Three Passes.
Look out for other videos I shot in and around Nepal.
