Went to the Redwoods National and State Parks. Specifically, I went to Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park. Then I went to Gold Bluffs Beach to hike Fern Canyon. Such an amazing place!

While trying to get to Fern Canyon, a bull elk tried to keep us from the trailhead. Once several of us gathered at the end of the road, we were able to pass as a group. But it was a little disconcerting to be confronted by a large bull elk.
