XY is a Boy group from Japan produced by YOSHIKI of XJAPAN.
The group announced their debut in 2023. Formed by a five piece band and a Dance & Vocal group of 8 members, ages between 18~27.
XY may not seem like a traditional boy group, their music is a mash up of JRock and POP following a unique and experimental concept of bringing together these two distinct genres to further create new sound, dynamic, and counterculture.
The multi talented group specialises in dancing ,singing, rapping, playing several rock instruments, and more.

JAY : Lead vocal
Known for his exceptional vocals, “Gifted ”might be the perfect word to describe his voice. Some of the distinctive sounds are the velvety & emotive voice, floaty & ethereal, the quavering flow of vibratos, his head voice/high notes that sound extremely light and otherworldly…etc, but there are many ways to describe his voice and is yet to be studied. His ability to convey raw & authentic emotions and easily access high notes in the ethereal range while the pure & innocent charm in his gifted voice remains distinct is no debate one of the most angelic voices to ever exist.
