Filmmakers Richard Morgan and Brian Waterman illustrate the recipe for the annual outing: 'First take 400 apples.150 lbs of sweets. Find 300 children. Label them well. Pour into 10 coaches. Add first aid. And helpers as needed. Let travel for 2 hours. Finally spread evenly all over Canvey Island. Topping up regularly with egg and chips, cakes and ice cream. Then relax and enjoy it.'
