I had the amazing opportunity to tour one with ‪@howlifeunfolds‬ and a forestry expert, and I’m excited to share what I learned about how forests can be managed in an eco-friendly way that supports both the environment, recreation, and local economies.

Forests are the lungs of our planet—absorbing CO2, producing oxygen, and supporting countless species. From the ancient wisdom of the Indigenous Wabanaki people to modern-day forestry practices, this video explores the history of forest management, the critical difference between deforestation from development and sustainable practices, like those used by the paper industry, that maintain a healthy forest, as well as why FSC and SFI certifications are so important.
