My quick thoughts on the FONO MM MK5
Setting up the unit was literally - plug and play.
The first thing that impressed me straight off the bat was the detail and noise floor. It’s clean, crisp with a nice sound stage, without being to bright in sound. The sound on this unit is nicely balanced. If you have a entry level stylus and this unit, compliment it with a decent stylus and you may/hopefully get some great sound from it.

Something I do, I always turn the Fono/Phono preamp on first, then the pre and then the power amp.

The unit size: Width 180mm, depth 147mm, height 47mm

RIAA Curve: The 1954 Turntable Equalization Standard:
The RIAA curve is an equalisation filter applied to vinyl records and then corrected in record player amplifiers in such a way that the listener is never aware that any change has occurred.
