Today we take a look at the possibility of changing this world which seems to be nothing but a place where man toils day in and day out, faces innumerable difficulties psychologically as well as physically and at last surrenders meekly to the unknown state - death. It's not surprising that mystery or the unknown has always been an attraction to man and this quest leads him over time to know, to be, to become gradually the master of existence. Because somewhere deep down in him there is an inherent feeling not to remain slave to circumstances; however, it takes long, long time - across different births - when he with the pressure of his indwelling spirit seeks to know, to identify with the Spirit within and then there starts the true journey - the spiritual journey.

Sri Aurobindo unlike others, has hewn out the path himself along with The Mother, laid out the roadmap of changing the world to a better one which doesn't shun the earthly life but aims to transform it into a 'Life Divine'. No doubt, such lofty aim demands that our life which is still steeped in lower nature has to be integrally opened out towards Divine's working for lifting it to higher consciousness, and this can be done only through and by the power of an infinite Force that belongs only to the Mother Divine. Till that happens entirely, we cannot but remain slave to the existing powers that operate in the lower nature - apara prakriti.
