Viktor Axelsen had lost 9 times against Lee Chong Wei before this match! Apparently 10th time was the charm, because in this thrilling three set match, Viktor Axelsen managed to win, proving that he could be the best in the world. After 2016, Axelsen has proven his potential. He got a bronze medal in the 2016 Olympics by defeating 5-time world champion Lin Dan. In 2017, he became world champion (again defeating Lin Dan!), and recently, he claimed the coveted All England title.
