One in 50 Albanians living in the UK is in jail, according to analysis of official data.

Over 1,200 Albanians from a migrant population of 53,000 have been imprisoned, topping a list of 130 nationalities.

The imprisonment rate for foreign nationals is 27% higher than for British citizens, with Albanians followed by Kosovans, Vietnamese, and Jamaicans among the most jailed.

Germans, Italians, and Indians are among the least likely to be imprisoned.
